Shad has a broad employee benefits background including experience in pension and welfare benefit plan design as well as fiduciary and benefits litigation. He is a member of the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association and an active member of the District of Columbia Bar. Prior to joining Equity Strategies, Shad practiced in the Employee Benefits group at the Washington, DC office of O'Melveny & Myers, LLP. He received his B.A. from Augustana College and his J.D. from the Yale Law School.
